BANN Unit Representative
BANN is offers a fantastic opportunity for you to become a BANN Lead in your unit. This role allows you to help grow our community by encouraging new memberships, engaging with the wider BANN network, and supporting the development of neuroscience nursing. It’s also a great chance to enhance your leadership skills and make a meaningful impact in your field.
BANN Unit Representative Responsibilities:
- Actively promote BANN in your local neuroscience unit and recruit new members
- Encourage members to attend the BANN annual autumn conference
- Disseminate conference information to staff that have been unable to attend
- Encourage members to apply for the education/research funds available on the BANN website @ https://bann.org.uk/financial-support/
- Encourage members to publish articles in the official journal of BANN the British Journal of Neuroscience Nursing (Assistance and support available from board members)
- Inform BANN about specific local projects and/or initiatives so that they can be congratulated and published in the Headlines newsletter/website
