Venue:The Darwin Convention Centre is a modern, world-class venue with spectacular views of Darwin Harbour. It is situated in Darwin’s Waterfront Precinct, which is also home to many hotels, cafes, restaurants, bars, wave pool, Stokes Wharf and the Royal Flying Doctor Service Visitor Centre. Ride the swell at the Wave Pool or float in the free saltwater lagoon with a manmade beach and shady lawn. Book a relaxing beauty or hair treatment, find the perfect souvenir or just meander around the lush parklands and walkways dotted with public art and enjoy the tranquil ocean views. All this is within a short walk to Darwin’s CBD. Delegates staying in the centre of the Darwin CBD can walk the 15minutes to the Convention Centre made easier by the ‘Sky Bridge’ to the Waterfront Precinct.

Crocosaurus Cove (included in your registration!) is situated in Darwin’s CBD – a short walk from the Darwin Convention Centre. Allows visitors a unique , up close and personal view of Australia’s iconic saltwater crocodiles. You can swim with the crocs, fish with the crocs, view the crocs & have your picture taken while holding a baby ‘saltie’. View the barramundi and turtles in the saltwater aquarium. Croc Cove also houses the world’s largest display of Australian reptiles.

The Royal Flying Doctor Service (purchase ticket) is affectionately known throughout Australia as the RFDS. Founded by the Reverend John Flynn, it began its aero medical operations in the NT in 1939. The Visitor Centre on Stokes Wharf displays the history and the activities of the RFDS’s pilots, engineers, doctors and nurses, and the experiences of the patients that are carried and cared for each day.

Mindil Beach Markets (purchase ticket) As the sun sets into the Arafura Sea, most of Darwin descends onto Mindil Beach. Food is the main attraction – Thai, Indian, Malaysian, Greek, Portuguese and more. Try crocodile or camel. Colourful arts and crafts abound, perfect for souvenirs. Shop, watch a fire show, have a massage, be entertained,
